Carol Cox review

There is plenty to check out on the CarolCox free tour - a great mini-biography about her, information about video formats used, and plenty of thumbnail previews. But the members' area navigation beat me, I have to say. All the information is there, as are all the categories you could ask for as well as easy access to all the bonus sites, good update information, and a load of video viewing formats especially. But too often I found myself loading up sections that didn't take me where I thought they would, and it really is far too complicated. What I would love to see are just large video and photo sections without categorisation. That would make things so much easier - it's too hard work right now.

There are no .ZIP download options or slideshows on the photo galleries and as you might expect from a site as large and old as this, photo sizes varied a lot. Lots of options on the videos though with streaming and downloading catered for and covered by .WMV, .M4V, .MP4, .3GP and .MOV formats and with high definition 1280x720px videos available as well.

Amazingly, it was a good four years after CarolCox.com launched that I had even used the internet for the first time. Longevity on porn sites is quite a rare thing to see, but Carol is a real trailblazer for amateur performers and so many ladies out there who set up their own site independently owe Cox and her company some degree of thanks. The site still updates regularly with over 250 videos and around a quarter of a million individual images on offer. The emphasis is on hardcore action, as expected, but enough candid solo content and lesbian action has seeped in to make sure that the collection maintains a certain freshness. As a performer, she has improved over the last decade and a half and thankfully shows no signs of slowing up. On top of all that, if the 80+ site network that you get added access to doesn't make this one of the best value deals around, then I'd like to know what is.
