Ed Powers has been living the dream for a long time now, doing his thing as an adult movie director, producer, and performer. I kind of use all of those terms loosely when it comes to Ed; for the uninitiated, Ed is kind of what most red-blooded porn fans would love to do if they didn't have any social concerns. He's basically an Everyman who went and started his own porn production company. He's not much to look at, and he's not a typical male porn star by any means; just a guy who wanted to get laid and make money doing it.
As such, his work looks like it's shot by an amateur. Ed has never been known for making high quality porn. Production values are generally rough, with what appears to be low-end camera equipment, lighting, sound, locations, etc. His videos look like they were shot by a guy with a decent home video camera and then lightly edited.
So what's the draw with Ed? Well, for a start, his videos definitely have a feeling of raw reality. They also allow you to see some good-looking girls paired up with a "real" guy. There's a certain appeal there. Lastly, Ed has managed to find some nice talent. Some big names made their first porn appearance in his well-known "Dirty Debutantes" series.
So when I began this review, I was looking forward to checking some of those big names out. Unfortunately, it appears that Ed's entire catalog is not represented here. Example-Marylin Star is an Ed original, and she's not here. Ditto Krystal Steal. There are others, and that's a negative.
As above, quality can be low and resolution is pretty rough. That's partially because much of the content is older (as far back as the early 90s). Navigation is decent, with a good sorting system. However, some video contains more than one scene/star and that can make it hard to effectively search at times.

He isn't your typical porn star, and the content he shoots isn't high-end, but if you want to see an everyday schlub tagging some hot chicks; or find those big names before they became big, Ed Powers has some drawing power. I was disappointed that the entire Ed Powers collection isn't here, to be honest. I'm guessing he rotates his stuff to keep members interested, but it's still a downer. Organization/navigation is decent if not great. At the least, I'd say it's worth a trial membership. Visit Ed Powers.
