Great Anime Source in-depth review
The overall presentation of this site was okay without ever being brilliant. In fact, I have written practically the same thing about every hentai site I have ever reviewed - it seems to be a trend! One thing that did stand out about the presentation here was the way the galleries are divided up into different categories. It was also good to see such good update information, and the fact that they offer previews of many upcoming galleries too. They probably could be somewhat clearer about what bonuses are on offer, and just make them a lot easier to access on the whole.
As we are dealing with a picture only site, there are not many options to go through. Image sizes vary depending entirely on the strip or gallery that you are looking at, but all sets contain a ZIP file download option and slideshow options as well. This is a site containing well over 3000 different galleries and strips, but there are no videos at all on this site. They update at an exceptional rate though, with five or six new galleries added every single day.
Obviously, when you call a site GreatestAnimeSource.com, you are going to expect a very particular style of animation - and for everything to be Japanese. But there was a very pleasant surprise awaiting me on this site in that it has a very substantial couple of sections that are dedicated to European and American anime and hentai output. There is quite a big scene in these areas and many artists producing their own Japanese style work, and it is great to see this site highlighting that on this site.
That it stands up to close scrutiny with the Japanese produced content that inevitably dominates this site (and adult animation on the whole) is to the credit of these artists too. As you might expect, it is a very strange collection at times and it slips in the occasional live action gallery dedicated to cosplay - a pretty good idea for a nice bit of variety, but it is good that it is only an occasional distraction.
