| Logging into the members area of Hentai-Mania brings you to a colourful page that is in keeping with the hentai genre. Underneath the main header image is a menu with features such as: News, Updates, Pictures, FAO and Bonus. Below that is some info about the site and a poll. Scrolling down there is a featured picture and video of the day, as well as the latest picture/video updates, top voted pictures/videos and the most viewed. This site has a very easy to navigate layout. There is one negative to point out already - the site doe not appear to have been updated since April, it’s now December. I started in the Updates section. There are 13 pages of hentai photo sets listed. All of the sets are listed as being added Oct 30th 2005, with a few added each month after that. Not a great start. Next I checked out the News section, it was blank.

| Moving onto some content, next is the Pictures section. These are split into 2 categories - Exclusive (1002 images) and Non-Exclusive (15765). You can choose to sort the images by name, by new first, by old first, or by views. There are merely 10 sets in the Exclusive category. Images in each set range from 31 to 244. One aspect that was a good addition is the descriptions of each set. Each image opens in a new window and is around 1000 x 800 in size. All the images in the Exclusive category are well produced. Although there are no .zip file downloads of the sets, there is a slideshow option.

| Inside the Non-Exclusive section are 3 sub caterories - Anime(407), Art (705) and Hentai (14653). Art includes images from fantasy erotic artists such as Boris Vagello and Louis Royo. In this non-exclusive part of the site, .zip files are available. All the images in the non-exclusive section vary in size and quality - they are collected from many different sources so there is no consistence.

| There are 18 hentai videos to choose from. All are in a WMV format. Each video is split into clips, ranging from 1 full length clip to 30 smaller clips. You can either stream the clips at the site or download them to your system. Quality of the videos is average - I wouldn’t class them as high quality hentai. |

Conclusion About Hentai Mania
Is Hentai Mania.com worth the monthly membership fee? In my opinion, no. They do have a wide range of images and some hardcore videos to choose from, however, most of there material is non-exclusive. Most of the art non-exclusive pictures you can find on the internet completely free of charge. That was a big negative against the site - putting free material on a paysite. The quality is okay, some of the photo sets are well put together. Another huge negative of the site is the lack of updates. Overall, a disappointing site.
