Over 40 Housewives in-depth review
After a pretty good free tour that gives you plenty of good free trailers, you get a members' area that is quite well presented too, if quite simple. Although the site doesn't probably make enough of an effort to describe each of its episodes, all of them are at least clearly dated. It also previews the next four updates to arrive on the site as well as providing some basic update information for the whole of the network. There were absolutely no ads to be seen at all, which was great, and the bonus sites were really easy to access as well.
There were not all that many options on the galleries or videos though. All photos were sized at 512x768px only and despite there being a slideshow that you can watch the galleries in, there were no ZIP gallery downloads. The videos don't get that many options with them, but they were at least available to stream in Flash and .WMV formats, and were also downloadable in the latter format. Pretty much all the videos played at 640x480px. There are currently 186 episodes on the site, which is currently being updated once every 10 days or so.
I've probably reached the age now where I can't really appreciate mature porn quite as much as I did 10 or 15 years ago, but I think it would be impossible not to appreciate Over40Housewives.com at least a little bit. For a site that has seemingly been around for less than 2 years, this really has become really pretty impressive. Mixing together well known mature stars like Kayla Quinn and Vanessa Vidal with some newcomers like Guitana, it really does work so well.
Probably the most important aspect of it is that I'm quite sure that almost all the ladies are indeed over 40. It might sound simple but you'd be amazed how many age group sites get it completely wrong. The action is generally shot without 'gloss' and gets straight into it without any need for plot or build-ups - no need for 'fast-forwarding' in other words. I wish that had been the case with all those old Shannon Tweed films!
