Queen of the Hood review

Presentation and design are quite clearly not two of the strong suits of the makers of QueenOfTheHood. In fact, the members' area represents a really disappointing effort. There are just a bunch of thumbnails that, when clicked, start an immediate video download. There are not even one word descriptions of any of the videos. There is no hint of any update information at all, and nothing is written about the background to the site or any of the content. In fact, it was hard to find anything positive to write about it! Fortunately, there tends to be a bit of information within the videos themselves.

Obviously, with the videos immediately downloading when you click a thumbnail, you can deduce that there are not really any viewing options on the videos here. And you would be right. All videos download in .MPG format and, to add further disappointment, they only play at a low resolution 320x240px. In total, there were 23 videos on this site but no image galleries.

To quote the great former wrestling commentator Joey Styles - "CATFIGHT!" But even the antics of the likes of Beulah McGillicutty and Jasmine St Clair from the original days of ECW look incredibly tame compared to some of the stuff that is going on with Queen Of The Hood.com. I really was not expecting to be sat down one day and reviewing a site where, what is practically bare-knuckle brawling, is presented as adult entertainment. Then again, nothing really surprises me any more, but this site came about as close as any recently.

There appears to be nothing scripted about these fights, and it is far closer to mixed martial arts (MMA) than it is to professional wrestling - these girls are genuinely battering other and some of them come out of their bouts much the worse for wear. There is no overt attempt at anything erotic here and you barely even get a glimpse of a nipple in any of the videos. I don't know whether this is a good thing or not. Obviously, this is meant to be a reality site, but it's also supposed to be adult entertainment. It's a real puzzle and completely down to personal taste, I would suggest.
