Stolen Home Films in-depth review
I'm not sure at what point they decided that their members' area should be so jam packed with ads, but it was a bad decision whenever it was made. Separating each set of thumbnails with an ad makes for a very intrusive experience and I don't think it is at all necessary. In many other ways though the navigation and presentation of this site was quite good. Update information is very good indeed and the descriptions of the scenes are not too bad. I guess the main improvement they could make is to try and categorise the content here.
The videos here can be downloaded in shorter clips and full length versions in .WMV format, but there were no streaming options despite a 'view' option under each video that actually just downloads the videos too. The full length videos are the highest quality versions here, playing at 720x548px and there were no DRM restrictions here. All videos have screenshot galleries with them and these are available in .ZIP file downloads, with image sizes usually around 720x540px. There are 61 videos here overall, and the site is updating on a daily basis.
One mystery about StolenHomeFilms.com is that I actually first saw it a couple of years ago and that they've been around since 2007 - yet their content only dates back to June 2010. Not sure what that means exactly although I'm not sure it can be a good thing. Unlike the videos here, which are pretty good for the most part. Of course, the likelihood of them really being stolen is very low indeed but I doubt anyone would really have expected them to be stolen!
Many of the videos are shot in a style though that at least makes them seem authentically amateur with still or 'hidden' cameras used to make it seem more realistic. Several of the videos though are far too glossy and professional to pull it off as effectively as others here. In terms of basic content and videos, the site could normally be seen as pretty good but I'd be worried about that content count and schedule if I was a subscriber.
