The Classic Porn Review 8.30

The mid-80s through the mid-90s was sort of my first exposure to porn, and this came just after the so-called "Golden Age of Porn," which ran from the early 70s until the mid-80s. These two periods are archived at The Classic Porn.com, a sort of time machine for porn lovers.

What you're getting here is simple; a treasure trove of videos taken from those time periods. It's a pretty simple concept, and it mostly works, but there are good and bad with the whole thing.

I'll start with the good stuff, and there's plenty to like here. The biggest plus is that there is a virtual ton of content, with almost 3500 videos. Even better, the videos are full length, not just scenes. It's also an interesting premise, although you will have to be ok with what's here. I'll delve in to that in the next paragraph, but if you like the stars or material that was produced back in the day, you'll probably like this site. Also, the site's technical aspects are nice. Videos are available in a few formats, and may be downloaded. Everything loaded and played quickly, with very hitches and glitches.

However, there are a few things that aren't so great. First up-the site's strength is also its weakness; you have to want older porn. This also means that video quality that is fairly poor. With content that was shot between the 60s and the mid-90s, this cant be helped, but it bears noting. Also, navigation here leaves a little to be desired. The landing page is very busy and confusing, and the sorting tools need improvement. Some of the labeling on content is wrong and/or missing. For example, I found a video featuring Taylor Hayes, a 90s hottie. I tried to find more of her, to no avail. That was a bummer. Lastly, there are no photos.

However, overall, I like what's here, and the price is right. There are bonus sites to add value, and that helps round a nice package.
