World Wide Wives in-depth review
There are lots of details and information to enjoy on WorldWideWives on its tour with one or two samples along the way. Nothing brilliant, but just enough to be going along with. The site has a massive and thankless task trying to organise this sheer weight of content into something manageable but they just about manage it with a navigation that is kept sensibly simple. They only use basic hardcore / softcore categorisation for the content - if you were being critical you could say there could be more categories to browse by. But in general, it did its job very well.
As far as videos are concerned, you can stream them via the site's embedded Flash Player or download them in .WMV files. The highest resolution videos I found played at 500x332px, but this varied throughout the site as you might expect considering there are so many videos. There are no .ZIP downloads on the image galleries, with image sizes having varied a fair amount during the site. Amazingly, there are as many as 20 photo galleries and videos added every day. Absolutely extraordinary.
WorldWideWives.com started out as a British adult community, from what I can remember, but has now grown far beyond those boundaries to become a literal worldwide site. You know a site is good when the only two things you can find to complain about are the horrible watermarks on every picture (they really have to do something about these, they are dreadfully intrusive) and the fact that there is far too much content here to ever get through! It really is a monster of a site and if you are a follower of the amateur and mature niches then you really have got to at least take a look at this.
You can probably guess what to expect from the content but it is the other elements here that interested me. The way the profiles are laid out for all the contributors and members on the site almost smacks of a dating site, and I think that is a great way of being able to keep in touch with your favourite people. Also, it makes uploading your own stuff so much more easy as well. Despite the sprawling nature of the site as well, it feels like a close community too. There really is so much fantastic stuff going on here.
