Chaturbate in-depth review
The name Chaturbate is a portmanteau of the words "chat" and "masturbate," and those two things are exactly what this nifty little site is all about. This is a cam site all the way, but it encourages lots of chat interaction as well as the aforementioned self-pleasuring.
There's a lot to like here, and it begins with the wide variety of talent. The "hook" with Chaturbate is that anyone can quickly broadcast themselves over the site. It's a really democratic adult entertainment portal. What this means for viewers is that you get to see everything from gorgeous girls, to plain Janes, to guys, couples, and more. There's even a transsexual channel. The people broadcasting run the gamut from what you'd expect (hot models) to plain 'ole people you'd see in your everyday life, all putting it out there for the world to see.
Another thing to like is that it looks like it's a relaxed site. You can see softcore, all the way to full on couples doing the nasty. There are some rules (no drinking on cam, no "gross stuff," etc.), but overall, it's pretty laissez-faire here.
The site is pretty well put together. Cams play really nicely and I experienced no glitches with any of them. The navigation tools provided were fairly intuitive (although I'd have liked to have seen a "how-to" guide somewhere). There was one thing that I thought the site could improve upon, and that's a ranking and/or sorting system. This is probably nit-picky, but I found myself sort of trolling through the site a lot.
Probably the best thing is that the basic level is free, and you can see a lot in the basic level. It has a freemium model; you can buy tokens to donate to models to see more, and the more you pay, the better your experience. I found the payment system and prices pretty easy and fair.
