Chick Pass Network Review 8.00

All-access network sites can be a little difficult to get a good handle on for a review, and such is the case with Chick Pass Network. This sprawling site has a ton of material, and at first glance it seems like a huge winner of a site. I mostly like what's here, but after spending some time checking it out, I began to feel like there is something missing. I'm still not sure what that is, but I'll try to explain what I mean.

However, I'll start with the good stuff, as there is quite a bit of good stuff here. Let's talk about the amount of content; almost 3400 scenes, each containing both photos and video. That's a huge selling point by itself. With 20 sites, the network brings the content in serious numbers. It also updates 17 times a week, so there's always fresh video and photos coming your way. This is a very compelling motivation to consider membership, especially at the prices being offered. It's a mix of exclusive and non-exclusive content, so some of this stuff is only found here.

But now comes the part where I felt like the site is just missing something, and it's hard for me to lay my finger on it. Nothing is really bad here, but there are aspects to the site that are just one bubble off of good. For example, the user interface is not bad, but it's not great either. When you first log in, it's not really easy to figure out how to get around. There are sorting and searching tools, but there's not a lot of them, and they don't return great results. Some of the content is mislabeled. None of this is bad, it's just not really great.

Resolution is ok, but again, not great. The newest content is in 1080p, but even that's not high def. The video action is good, but it's not awesome. That might be the theme here; good, but not great.
