POV Porn Review

For the uninitiated, the "POV" in that genre of porn stands for "point of view," or more specifically, "first person point of view." The gist is, the meat puppet in the scene is also the camera man, meaning the viewer gets that view. It's as if you're the one holding the camera. At POV Porn, you get the view of producer, director, and performer Peter Romero. The concept he brings to the screen is solid, and the girls that he's famous for recruiting are sweet. I should love this place, but there are a few shortcomings.

First, though, the good stuff. The idea is good. You get to see Romero's view as he bangs young, cute girls. Romero's style of POV is well-practiced, and he has a certain look about his scenes that's fairly unique. There's a surprising amount of variety as well; you get a mix of settings (even some outdoors), and since Romero's been shooting for a while, the content stretches back pretty far.

His eye for talent is sharp, and the scenes that members get are exclusive to this site. It's pretty easy to get in to, especially with the pre-action interviews that accompany some video scenes.

Technical quality is decent on newer material, maxing out at 1080p in high definition, with bitrates ranging up to 8450 kbps.

So far, so good. However, as earlier, there are shortcomings. The site's user system is not the best I've seen. There's not much in the way of useful sorting tools. There are no streaming video options (this is apparently coming in January 2017). Some of the older videos, are lower quality. They're also split into parts often, meaning multiple downloads. Finally, there are no zip files for pic downloads. You pic hounds are out of luck.
